Hey gator girls! Do you ever get frustrated when texting a guy? Do you struggle to find just the right thing to say back? Ever wonder how long you should wait to respond? We’re all guilty of analyzing, deciphering, and calling in outside advice and insight from our friends over a single text from a guy. If only we could all put that much effort into our English papers, right?

HeTexted.com could be the next big thing for love advice. Launched this year, this brand new website offers free advice for girls from actual guys on something we are all addicted to: texting. Last week, we here at Her Campus UFL gave away more than 400 T-shirts from HeTexted.com. The event was a huge success; we ran out of T-shirts in less than an hour! Read on to see pictures from the event and hear what Her Campus UFL PR/Event Intern Bella Zabinofsky has to say about texting guys.

Do you think girls are often confused by a guy’s text messages? “I think girls are definitely confused by guy’s text messages. Guys don’t always make things clear, and girls tend to read into things too much.”

Why do you think girls will like this site? “I think girls will like this site because it gives them outside opinions on how to handle dating situations. A lot of girls don’t know how to respond in conversation, and I think this could help a lot of them learn.”

Do you think constantly texting hurts or helps a relationship? “Constantly texting is a big red flag. If you’re constantly talking to someone you’re dating then it gives you little space to be your own person. Girls who need to know every single thing that their significant other is doing should learn that absence makes the heart grow fonder.”
