4 Places to Shop for Necklaces that will Dazzle you and your Wallet

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UFL chapter.

I’m a clothing fanatic — the kind of girl who never wants to wear the same outfit twice unless it’s that cute. But as much as I love clothes, there’s one thing I notice more than the outfit a girl is wearing… Jewelry.

I’m a huge fan of statement necklaces. Whether I’m bored in class and trying to entertain myself or out at midtown, I always notice a cute statement necklace. And since I’m not an outfit repeater, statement necklaces are perfect for me because I can wear the same pieces with different necklaces to change up a previously worn outfit.

I know sometimes these chunky necklaces cost a big chunk of change.  But while I’m good at spotting must-have accessories, I’m also good at spotting a great deal. I’ve decided to share my favorite spots for finding beautiful statement necklaces that you’ll feel good about purchasing.

Forever 21
I have bought several necklaces from Forever 21. I know I can go in there and find a necklace to go with just about anything. Not only does Forever 21 offer a wide variety of statement necklaces, but they offer them at amazing prices. In the picture above, the range of prices for necklaces is from $6.80 to $24.80, so you can literally pick any price and find the perfect piece to spice up your outfit.

Charlotte Russe (online)
Charlotte Russe may not have as much variety as Forever 21, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have prices just as great. All of the necklaces in this picture are between $12.50 and $12.99. Now that’s a bargain! I’m not kidding; whenever I make a trip to my hometown, I always stop in Charlotte Russe to check out their jewels. Gainesville doesn’t have a Charlotte Russe, but don’t worry, they have great sales online. Right now select jewelry items are 2 for $10! Happy Shopping!

Plato’s Closet
I know this may seem hard to believe, but Plato’s Closet has some great necklaces for super cheap prices! These gently used necklaces are sold for low prices that are perfect for a collegiette’s budget. Another great thing about Plato’s closet? There’s only one of each necklace in the store, so the odds of someone else having the same necklace are pretty slim.

eBay
Call me crazy, but I get a ton of statement necklaces off of eBay. I mean, why not? They’re cute; they’re cheap; and often times, they still have the tags on them! On eBay, you can either bid on jewelry or simply buy it. I would be lying if I told you I didn’t own two of the necklaces pictured above. You can find necklaces at affordable prices from Zara, Anthropologie, J. Crew, and Topshop. The price range of the necklaces above is from $9.99 to $16.90. Now, who isn’t a sucker for that kind of deal?

Now that I’ve passed on my sense for affordable, adorable jewelry, it’s time for you to get shopping. I may or may not be stalking eBay right now!
