The end of the quarter is fast approaching. If you are anything like me, all the looming deadlines and exams are creating a lot of stress. Here are some things I find help to minimize my stress and keep me on top of my work.

Make a planner

Keeping a detailed planner of all your assignments and exams is a great way to stay organized and on track. Organize your days and set aside time to study. If you prefer to write things down, you can order a planner on Amazon or at the campus Target. For online planners, Notion is a great website to use.

Start studying now

Although finals are still a few weeks away, they will be here before we know it. Being proactive can save you from stress later. Start creating outlines and study guides when you have free time now. Spreading your studying out over time will help you retain the information better.

Get enough sleep

Nothing is worse for productivity than being tired. Having a good sleep schedule is crucial to finishing this last part of the quarter. Be mindful of your sleep patterns and correct them now before we enter the throes of finals week.

Take time to relax

Finals are a stressful time. Even the lead up can induce a lot of anxiety. Make sure you are staying conscious of your mental health! Take breaks from your schoolwork to do the things you love. Listen to music, get Starbucks, watch a movie, or do whatever helps you unwind.
