Q/A

1. What is your major and future career goals?

My current major is communications which is pretty strange considering my future career goals. In the future, I am hoping to either work for the FBI or become a Detective.

2. If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would you pick? Why?

If I could have dinner with anyone I would choose the one and only master chef Gordon Ramsay. I have always loved watching Gordon Ramsay’s cooking shows. He might come off as mean and tough but I think he is just really passionate about his cooking.

3. What are you most grateful for?

Growing up as a foster child has been pretty tough. There were a lot of moments in my life where I felt lost and alone, but I am so blessed to have the strongest aunt in the world who took care of me and adopted me. I will always be grateful for the home I was adopted into.

4. What is your favorite part about going to UCSD?

Hands down the weather is the best part about going to UCSD for me. In my hometown, there are either two temperatures. Boiling hot or freezing cold, so the weather here in San Diego was a well-needed change of pace.

5. What are you looking forward to most about being a part of HerCampus?

The thing I look forward to the most is being able to meet new people and connect with amazing writers. I have been doing journalism type stuff for a long time and I think HerCampus is a good way to try something new.

I’m a third year at UC San Diego. I am majoring in communications and minoring in film studies.
