You can’t complain about San Diego weather; it is nice all year long. This means that you rarely get to experience all four seasons. We are currently experiencing 70 degree weather in the middle of November! Because of the sunny weather, us San Diego-ians need to tailor our wardrobe to still take advantage of the cool fall trends, but still stay cool and enjoy the sunny weather!
Leggings. There is a lot of controversy around leggings; but don’t worry! There are other ways to incorporate leggings into your wardrobe without wearing them as pants. A cute way to incorporate your favorite summer skirt/dress is to layer it over leggings.
Scarves. Scarves dress up any outfit and there are many variations of ways to wear to them. You could layer them over a long sleeved shirt/tank top/ dress/ or use them as an accessory over a short sleeved shirt. Scarves also come in various fabrics, so you will be able to find one that fits your corresponding climate.
Boots. Boots are a stylish way to add fall flare into your outfit. Wear them with leggings/jeans, or with skirts/dresses on warmer fall days. EXTRA: Add cute socks that stick out of the boots for an extra pop of style
Cardigans. Cardigans are perfect for San Diego fall weather. Layer them on top of your shirt. When it start to heat up during the middle of the day, you can easily take it off.
Flannels/Chambray Tops. Same idea applies here. When you are walking down library walk at noon, you can roll up your sleeves and stay cool, and stylish!
