Name? Jasmine Cho

College? ERC

Relationship Status? Happily married to Netflix and tacos.

Describe your ideal engagement proposal:

I think I’m one of the few girls who doesn’t have an ideal engagement proposal. However, I think I would want the proposal to be intimate and something just between me and my fiance. I’m not a big fan of public engagement proposals.

One celebrity that you would like to spend the day with:

This is the easiest question in the world for me to answer: Beysus, Queen B, BAEyonce, etc. Whatever other holy name you can think of that is deemed appropriate for the Queen.

Name a song title that sums up your college experience:
Bills, Bills, Bills – Destiny’s Child (Money using boyfriend:Beyonce::College Tuition and Expenses:Jasmine)

If it magically snowed in SD, what would you do on your snow day off?
I LOVE the snow! I would start out by making numerous snow angels. Then I would build a snowman and hope it comes to life like Olaf. Finally, I would top my day off by riding down hills on a sled.

Name your favorite fictional character from a movie/TV show/book:
My favorite novel of all time is The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton, so naturally, my favorite character is Countess Ellen Olenski. Also, Severus Snape all the way.

Pancakes or Waffles?
Waffles! Waffles are so efficient; they basically have built-in cup-like crevices for syrup. Pancakes are flat. That’s no fun.

Cats or Dogs?
Dogs! I have a 10 year old Cocker Spaniel and he is my favorite thing in the world!

Taylor Swift or Katy Perry?:
I think they are both very talented and skilled. However, Katy Perry’s half-time performance was on-point, so I’m going to go with Katy Perry!

If you could steal the closet of any celebrity, whose would it be?
Victoria Beckham. Oh my god. She has an endless collection of chic closet staples, including those in her own line. My jaws drop every time she gets photographed somewhere. I also love Solange’s closet. They are so retro chic! I love it!

Why do you write for Her Campus?
I chose to write for Her Campus because the organization is a women’s empowerment writing society. The organization has a great purpose and spreads positive vibes and awareness all throughout college campuses. Writing also benefits me personally because it gives me time to wind down and destress. After a long week of studying for midterms, it feels nice to write something creative and fun that isn’t MLA formatted. Writing articles also allow me learn more about my interests and my writing style. Not to mention, the HC UCSD staff are amazing!
Taylor is currently a senior at the University of California, at San Diego where she is studying for a BA in Communication Studies. She is the Co-Correspondent of the HC UCSD chapter, and also a member of the lovely Alpha Omicron Pi, Lambda Iota chapter. While she isn't busy reading 50 pages every day for her communication classes, she enjoys reading a plethora of other types of books (especially anything by Malcolm Gladwell!). Other interests include eating Gouda-grilled cheese sandwiches, drinking lots and lots of tea, attending concerts, watching Parks and Recreation, and attempting to buy every beauty product that Ulta and Sephora can offer. She has also been self-proclaimed as Katy Perry's #1 fan #katycat4life.
Jasmine is currently a senior at the University of California, San Diego. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Education Studies. Jasmine is the Co-Campus Correspondent for Her Campus UCSD, along with the amazing Taylor Zepeda. Jasmine spends most of her time volunteering at low socioeconomic status elementary schools across the San Diego county and grading papers for classes she is a Teacher's Assistant in. Novel wise, she is an avid fan of Edith Wharton and the Lord of the Rings series. She also loves comedic shows like New Girl and The Big Bang Theory, but also enjoys thrillers like Criminal Minds. One of Jasmine's favorite hobbies is trying foods of different cultures; she loves visiting cultural nights and community festivals. Above all, Jasmine worships Beyonce (a.k.a. Beysus, Queen Bee, Baeyonce, etc). Her future aspiration in life is to become the Secretary of Education and have the Hov and B over for dinners.
