Only differing by color and design, these three hoodies have a wide, boxy fit with wide sleeves and a large hood. Better yet, the colors are quite muted so they’re easy to pair with any type and color bottoms.
These hoodies are all priced at $110.00 USD. They’re a bit pricey, but to me, completely worth it. Though currently all sold out, be on the lookout for their next drop!
2. LEZÉ THE LABEL’s Jordyn hoodie
This hoodie checks all the boxes. It comes in more minimalistic colors such as bone, gray, black, navy, and pine. These hoodies definitely pass the comfort test as they were created by founders whose goal was to create work appropriate clothing that still have the comfort level of pajamas. Don’t believe me? The Jordyn hoodie is currently priced at $86.00 USD, but it can be about $20 lower when it’s on sale, so keep your eyes peeled!
3. Abercrombie’s essential popover hoodie
It’s soft, oversized, and has the perfect resting position for the hood. It’s a classic hoodie loved by many and it’s definitely a safer option if you’re worried about spending extra money on a brand you’re unfamiliar with. The options for this hoodie are quite versatile: there are 31 color options, the sizes range from XXS to XXXL, and come in two different lengths of “regular” or “tall.”
The essential popover hoodie is currently listed at $60.00 USD. However, Abercrombie has year-round sales. Make sure to wait for a sale to get a better deal for this hoodie that hoodies.
4. FERISHTAH Heavyweight & Ultra-heavyweight hoodie
Made in Turkey and 100% cotton, Ferishtah’s hoodies seem to be a good quality basic investment. They’re labeled as “oversized dropped shoulder design boxy cut” from the website, meaning they check all the requirements to be a hoodie that hoodies. The brand is German and carries these hoodies from sizes small to XXLarge. They come in colors of brown, black, sand, grey, vintage black, red, light blue, light brown, and lilac.
The ultra-heavyweight hoodie is priced at €40.00 (Euros), which is roughly $43.50 USD. Their heavyweight hoodie is priced at €30.00 (Euros), approximately $32.62 USD. This is definitely a cheaper option compared to the first three options.
5. Essentials Fear of god hoodie
The classic hoodie that you may or may not already own. When you walk out to classes, you’ll probably see at least 5 people wearing the Fear of God Essentials hoodie, but it’s popular for good reason. The iconic hoodie hoodies in a way like no other. It drapes over the body in an oversized fit, has a large hood, and its material is soft, but thick. This hoodie comes in colors of jet black, cloud dancer, and core heather. If you don’t necessarily like the design of this hoodie, the majority of the hoodies from Essentials passes the hoodies that hoodie test.
