8 Places at UCSB To Up Your Instagram Feed

You don’t need to venture far to find inspiration for your next Instagram post at UCSB.  Here are 8 places on or around campus that will take your Instagram feed to the next level!

1. The Beach

This one’s a no-brainer; you can’t come to UCSB and not take pictures of/at the beach! Any of the beaches off campus will be just what you need to take your Instagram feed to the next level.

2. Lagoon Road

Want those beachy vibes without going to the beach? Lagoon Road will do just that. With the sandy pathway, tall palm trees, and the ocean in the distance it will look as though you have traveled to a place forever stuck in summer.

3. Goleta Pier

Still sticking to a summery theme, head to Goleta Pier (within walking and biking distance from campus). Any shots on the pier, of the ocean, a friend, or even the birds will be a hit.

4. Art, Design, and Architecture Museum Mural

One of UCSB’s most Instagrammed spots, this colorful mural is similar to those utilized by some of the top fashion bloggers. Whether you’re doing an OOTD or just looking to add a pop of color to your feed, this unique mural will be a perfect fit.

5. The Labyrinth

Located at Campus Point, this cool rock maze dubbed “the Labyrinth” is a unique landmark of UCSB. Show it off to the rest of the world and make it your next post!

6. UCSB Sunsets

UCSB students can all agree that sunsets here are some of the best. With vibrant pinks, peaches, yellow, purple, and blue these cotton candy skies can’t be beat. No Instagram feed is complete without a sunset picture. 

7. Isla Vista

You never know what you’ll find in IV that’s Instagram worthy. These cute little succulents at the Food Co-op add some nice earthy vibes to any Instagram feed. Plants, delicious food, murals, and unique buildings are all within a 15-minute walk. There’s no shortage of possibilities!

8. Your Classroom

Sometimes inspiration finds you, don’t overlook your class! See a unique layout  Wall art? Good lighting? Snap it and edit later! Even the most mundane things can be turned into a photo masterpiece.
