Where I Would Send Each Zodiac Sign On Vacation

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UCLA chapter.

Finals are just around the corner and with the stress and pressure that comes with the end of the quarter, we find ourselves looking for our escape plans and our next vacation to look forward to. Here is where I would send each zodiac sign on a much needed vacation:

Capricorn: London, England

Starting off with my very own sign, Capricorn! I visited London last summer and I loved the vibes. I’m usually a tropical sunny weather kind of girl, but I appreciated the rain for once. When I think of Capricorns, I think of the color grey and that’s what London reminded me of, in the best way! Like a cozy cup of tea.

Aries: Grindavik, Iceland

For my fire sign girls, I would send Aries on a vacation to Iceland! Since Aries are known to be the “fieriest” of the fire signs, I feel like the cold weather would be a good place to relax and enjoy Iceland’s wellness culture, natural mud masks, and hot springs!

Taurus: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Since Taurus is known to appreciate the grandeur and lavish lifestyle, I would send them to Dubai, UAE, known for their luxury shopping and upscale architecture. I feel like Taurus would enjoy being in the middle of beautiful aesthetics and amenities.

Gemini: New York City, New York

Next we have Gemini, one of the most outgoing signs (and funniest, in my opinion). I would send Gemini to explore the fast-paced culture of New York City. Geminis are known to be adaptable which is an important quality when exploring and potentially chasing your dreams in the Big Apple.

Cancer: Nassau, The Bahamas

For my lovely and sweet water sign, Cancers deserve some rest and relaxation in the Caribbean Islands: Nassau! Cancer can spend some time on the beach and visit the swimming pigs! This is an ideal destination for the water sign to be in touch and in their element, literally.

Leo: Paris, France

Leos are the stars of the zodiac signs and I feel like they would enjoy romanticizing their life on the Champs-Elysées. The drama-adoring sign would appreciate the art in Parisian culture, architecture, language, and art.

Virgo: Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo, Japan is known for its vibrant culture, but also for their cleanliness, respect for their neighbors, and organization. Given Virgos’ inclination towards planning and perfection, a visit to Tokyo would be ideal, allowing them to immerse in cultural richness while appreciating the city’s pristine streets.

Libra: Venice, Italy

Libras belong in Venice, Italy. This sign is ruled by the planet Venus, which represents love, romance, beauty, and art. Much like Leo, I feel like this sign would be able to romanticize their vacation and perhaps find some romance on a gondola in the city’s canals.

Scorpio: Edinburgh, Scotland

Edinburgh is similar to London in that I associate the city with the color grey, but a much darker grey. Edinburgh is, to me, London’s mysterious and cool hot older sister. Scorpios are much like how I would describe Edinburgh. If you are a Scorpio woman, I love you.

Sagittarius: Bali, Indonesia

For Sagittarius, I would send these outgoing and ambitious women to Bali, Indonesia where they can be in touch with their free spirit and thirst for adventure. Bali is known for its beautiful vegetation, rich history, volcanoes, and natural warm hospitality. Sagittarius would appreciate genuinely indulging in the local’s culture and way of life. Nothing glamorous would be on Sagittarius’ radar; instead, they would look for authentic adventure.

Aquarius: Cape Town, South Africa

My best friend is an Aquarius and she is the coolest person I know. Aquarians are spontaneous and pride themselves in being so. A safari would be a perfect getaway for them, since the beautiful wildlife one can encounter in a safari is as unpredictable as they are.

Pisces: Athens, Greece

Last but not least, I would send my compassionate and soft girls to Athens, Greece. The city is famous for its artistic buildings and landmarks, such as the Parthenon, and welcomes those who seek creative endeavors. When I think of Pisces, I’m reminded of the fictional Greek retelling of The Iliad, The Song of Achilles, written by Madeline Miller. Very dreamy, sweet, and well, Greek.
