College is a wonderful place where you are exposed to so many different types of people and you probably have multiple types of friends that you hang out with. If so, you will find this list to be very relatable!

1. The “Grandma” Friend

This friend has a set bedtime and sticks to it regardless of any plans happening after 10 p.m. that you invite her to (but you can always count on her to be on time to your breakfast plans). She drinks a lot of tea and always offers you snacks when you come over. She might have trouble operating technology and she’s probably the last person you call if you need anything late at night, but she is definitely one of your most loving and reliable friends.

2. The “Mom” Friend

This friend is always stocked and ready for any emergency or event life throws at her. Are you on a public bus and someone drops milk onto the floor and it gets all over you and you need napkins? Do you need hand sanitizer? Are you sick and need someone to take care of you? Do you need someone to hold your hand and tell you everything will be okay? This friend has got your back.

3. The “Social Butterfly” Friend

You have no idea how this girl does it, but she knows more people than you can even begin to remember and she is always down for a good time. She’s very outgoing and always manages to make a new friend wherever you go together. You also might have to schedule dinner plans with her far in advance because her social calendar fills up quick.

4. The “Strictly School” Friend

You met this friend when you went to the first day of lecture or section and sat down by the first friendly face you found. She makes going to lecturing and studying more entertaining and you should definitely try to get to know her outside of class!

5. The “Work”  Friend

You get along really well with this friend but you literally never see them outside of your work. If you ever do hang out together outside of work, it kind of becomes a big deal and you turn into this gif of Chris Hemsworth.

6. The “Floor” Friend

This is one of the first friends that you made during your freshman year because during that first week of school, everyone on your floor spent a lot of time together. What makes this friend special is that even though you may not live on the same floor anymore and you’ve both grown up, you still make the time to see each other or get dinner whenever you can!

7. The “Best” Friend

This friend is the one who is essentially your other half and has impacted your life in a huge way. Regardless of where or how you two met, this friend is attached to your hip and is never leaving you. You get along in a way that doesn’t make sense to anyone else and she is literally your college soulmate because you couldn’t imagine this experience without her.
