As college students we are always looking for a bargain. Makeup can be pretty expensive if you are looking in all the wrong places. Sometimes girls forget that price doesn’t always change the quality.

There’s no need to be spending $15 or more on a new lipstick to update your collection in time for fall. Instead look for those lipstick steals. The top lip colors for fall include both deep reds, plums, dark purples, mauve pinks, and of course everyone should own a nude color lipstick.

The first drugstore steal is a nude lipstick. It is one of the most perfect nudes! The brand and lip color is Rimmel London Lasting Finish 050 in Paradise. You can find this product at Walgreens for only $4.99. You can never go wrong with a nude lip in any season, so if you don’t own a nude color lipstick yet, this Rimmel lipstick is the perfect steal.

The second top fall lipstick can be found in a drugstore, but surprisingly it is cheaper at Ulta. NYX Round Lipstick in LSS623 Heather is a very pretty medium mauve-pink lipstick that is rich, creamy, moisturizing, and pigmented. Like the nude color, this lipstick shade can be a perfect every day wear lip for fall.

Thirdly, vampy/deep red lips are very popular for fall, whether you pair it with a smoking eye or a neutral eye with just some eyeliner and mascara is up to you. The Milani Color Statement Lipstick in 24 Black Cherry is almost the identical dupe of the MAC Lipstick in Dark Side with a glossy finish that is easily found in your local Walmart for $4.97.

Fall is the time to step out of your comfort zone and try out some different crazy colors. Berry/purple lips are very popular when it comes to the cooler weather. One of the most talked about lipsticks, especially for fall, is the MAC Lipstick in Rebel. Yes, all MAC Lipstick is expensive; it is $15 for just one lipstick. Instead of spending that much there is an alternative lipstick that is the perfect dupe for only $4.97! Milani Color Statement Lipstick in Sangria is a wine color, which is identical to the MAC Rebel. If you were interested in trying out this MAC Lipstick, save your money and go for the steal, which you can find at any Walmart.

The last steal for fall has the same name of “Black Cherry,” but this lipstick color is not a red, but rather a deep and dark purple color. This color is beyond beautiful and to die for! If you are searching for a really dark lip, but not an ugly dark color that looks black, but a pretty dark/edgy color, then the Revlon Super Lustrous Crème Lipstick is perfect for you. This lipstick defines your lips nicely and is packed with vitamins and moisturizers that leave your lips soft and smooth. You can find this lipstick at any Target for only $4.99.

So, the next time you are out collecting those fall lip items, check out these lipsticks that are affordable for any college student. And remember, just because the price is higher, doesn’t always mean it is any better than the cheaper choice.
