So UCF may not be having the football season we were all hoping for, but nonetheless, local businesses have given us ways to help cope with it.
The well-known transportation service, Uber, has decided to start giving free rides to UCF fans until they win a football game. (This may be helpful to those who decide to drink an extra beer while looking at the score during the game.) The only downfall to this deal is that it must be your first time using Uber in order to get the discount.
Another pro to UCF’s current football season is that a local bar called The Basement is offering free beer until UCF wins a football game. Sounds great, right? The only downside is that the free beer is only available during the football games, so The Basement is definitely a place to check out on the next game day. They have currently given out 9,973 free beers so far. Let’s see how many it will reach by the end of the season!
If UCF’s current streak keeps up, we’ll have to see if any other companies join in on the trend to make UCF fans less bitter.
