Meet a new cutie on the UCF campus, Dalton Millard! Dalton is a freshman and has already made quite the impression at UCF. You can usually find him at the gym or hanging around with his best friend/soul mate, Scott (I still can’t tell the difference between the two of them). Dalton is an excellent dancer and enjoys going to Knight Library to show off his moves. I sat down with Dalton to ask him about his life, his passions, and the most important question of all- Chipotle or Dominos?

Name: Dalton Millard

Age: 18

Year: Freshman

Hometown: Longwood, Florida

Major: Criminal Justice…with a minor in crime. (He’s just kidding!)

Relationship Status: Currently single and in the process of mingling.

Her Campus UCF (HCUCF): How did you feel when you found out you were nominated for Campus Cutie?

Dalton Millard (DM): I felt gorgeous.

HCUCF: What’s your campus involvement like?

DM: The pub club and lib club! I’m also on intramural football and basketball teams.

HCUCF: If you could listen to one artist for the rest of your life, who would it be?

DM: Taylor Swift all day every day. Red is my favorite song

HCUCF: Do you have any relationship advice?

DM: Never cheat…and be a good listener I guess.

HCUCF: What’s your dream date?

DM: A girl makes me dinner.

HCUCF- Wait- that’s it? You just want a girl to make you dinner?

DM: Yup. I’m not hard to please.

HCUCF: What’s the most romantic thing you’ve ever done?

DM: My ex-girlfriend said our lives together were like a movie, and since I can’t make a movie, I figured writing a script about everything we have been through together was the next best thing…34 pages later and it was done.

HCUCF: Chipotle or Dominos?

DM: Oh this is a hard one. Chipotle.

HCUCF: PC or mac?

DM: PC… but only because I can’t afford Mac.

HCUCF: What was the last movie you saw that was really good?

DM: The Gladiator… it’s a pretty old movie, but I feel more cultured because I watched it.

HCUCF: What’s your favorite song at the moment?

DM: “I’m Coming Over.” (He sees the confused look on my face) It’s a country song! Do you listen to country? (Shakes head, no) Wow, you really need to.

HCUCF: Cats or dogs?

DM: Oh my gosh… dogs. Cats are little devils.

HCUCF: If you could be any animal, what animal would you be?

DM: A dolphin… because my name is Dalton and it sort of sounds like dolphin.

HCUCF: What’s your favorite sports team?

DM: The Ohio State Buckeyes… the best band in the land.

HCUCF: First kiss?

DM: Oh this is a good story! Let me set the scene. It was on a cruise ship and I was fourteen or fifteen. I went to one of those clubs… you know those dorky 15 year old clubs that they have on cruise ships. This girl started twerking on me and then I said, “You wanna blow this joint sweet cheeks?” And then I took her up to the top deck; it was like one thirty in the morning. And then we just started kissing. It was all very romantic.

HCUCF: Favorite place to eat in Orlando?

DM: I like to hit up the finest five star restaurants on the UCF campus… Knightro’s and ’63 South to be specific.

HCUCF: Who is your celebrity crush?

DM: Matt Damon… I have such a man crush on him.

HCUCF: Dream place to live?

DM: In the mountains of Tennessee… with Taylor Swift. Actually no- with Matt Damon.

HCUCF: Guilty pleasure?

DM: Belly-button piercings.

HCUCF: Um… I think that you should explain yourself.

DM: Never mind… I’ve said too much.

Jillian James is a senior at the University of Central Florida. She is majoring in Writing and Rhetoric and minoring in Mass Communication (because apparently you can’t minor in Beyoncé studies). Her favorite food is free because she is a college student and the two loves of her life are Ben and Jerry (of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream fame). If she’s not writing or reading she is probably watching The Office or waiting in line at Starbucks. She loves to show off her dance moves in “inappropriate” places like the grocery store. You can follow her on Twitter and Instagram @Jillianrosej, where she frequently posts things that make people think that she has her life together.
