The Five Best Vacation Spots for Spring Break

Finals are approaching, but hang in there, Aggies–spring break is just around the corner! Here are 5 locations for your spring vacation. 

1.     San Diego Zoo: Safari Park

Get close and personal with your favorite safari animals! You can choose your safari adventure from a selection of packages and get the opportunity to travel in the back of a covered, open-air safari truck, getting an up-close view of various birds and mammals.

2.     Mount Shasta

Mount Shasta is the second highest peak in the Cascade Range, renowned for its great beauty and sacred importance. The stratovolcano offers recreational opportunities to all people, from skiing to backpacking, taking in breathtaking waterfalls to wildflowers, hiking treks up massive glaciers or peaceful hikes through meadows.

3.     Berkeley 4th Street Shopping District

Berkeley’s 4th Street shopping area offers around three blocks of unique shops and restaurants. It is famous for its numerous specialty stores, many independently owned. Passerby will appreciate the colorfully packaged toiletries, homey bookstores, collections of journals and whimsical gifts adorning the shop windows.

4.     Disney Family Museum

The Walt Disney Family Museum is a treasure trove for visitors of all ages! It will be the opportunity to study the man behind the magic of Disney and how his creations and characters changed the field of entertainment and animation to make it what it is today.

5.     Half Moon Bay

Half Moon Bay sits between forested hills and the beautiful California coastline. With its numerous restaurants for fine dining, boutique shops, and bed and breakfasts, Half Moon Bay is truly a quaint place to visit, accessible by bike, foot, and even by horse!
