Finding a gift can seem like an impossible task. If you’re like me, you probably spend hours mindlessly scrolling online trying to find the perfect gift for your friends and family. With this in mind, I’ve compiled a list of gift ideas specifically for college girls that would be a hit at your next special occasion, whether that be for a birthday, graduation, holiday, or anniversary.

  1. Bath Bombs & Skin Care Products. Perfect for a night in or a fun way for a recipient to pamper themselves, a bath bomb or any skin care products would make the perfect gift for any girl who wants to indulge in a self-care night. Personally, I enjoy purchasing my bath bombs from Lush, as they have a large array of different colors, smells, and shapes. In terms of skincare products, I’ve been obsessed with the COSRX brand lately, specifically their snail mucin-based essence.
  2. Stuffed Animal & Blanket. A cozy blanket or stuffed animal would be a great add-on to any bedroom, adding a touch of comfort and coziness to the space. Some of my favorite stuffed animals are the Target stuffed animals that are slightly weighted, specifically the dinosaur series, providing comfort as well as cuteness to any room around the house.
  3. Jewelry. Any jewelry like necklaces, rings, earrings, or bracelets, would fit perfectly with any girl and their closet, especially minimalist accessories (or maximalist!). Just be sure to choose the right color of jewelry, as some people have specific preferences with the type of jewelry they wear (ie. gold or silver). Many necklaces also come with customizable pendants, and some necklaces even allow a name to be handwritten in cursive lettering!
  4. Tumbler & Water Bottle. A trending water bottle like an Owala or a tumbler like a Stanley would be perfect with the hot weather quickly approaching! Both keep drinks cool for an extended period of time and prevent any spillage or leakage. They’re also perfect for bringing on the go to school, work, or any day-to-day activities!
  5. Cookies & Baking. Are you a baker? Sometimes, when I have some spare time, I enjoy making cookies or brownies for my friends as a gift for them on their birthday as a surprise. This gift also works well if there is no party planned on the day of the gift giving. This is also good for a more social group, where the gift can be shared with everyone who is celebrating the birthday.
  6. Trinkets. As someone who has a billion trinkets, you can never have enough. Some of my favorite trinkets are Sonny Angels as well as the little food erasers (specifically the desserts). Smiskis is also a good choice since they’re extremely popular Japanese figures that are collected as well. There are also lots of blind boxes that can be easily purchased in downtown Davis that make the perfect gift for those who enjoy a little surprise!

There are lots of options for things to get your loved ones as gifts! Whether that would be as a special occasion or just as a little something, there’s something on the list for everyone. So what are you waiting for? Stop scrolling for hours looking up “trendy gifts” and shop for your gift for your friends and family today with the help of this list!
