7 Shows You Need to Watch on Hulu (Like, Now)

Since the recent partnership between Spotify and Hulu, I’ve been enjoying my new membership with the video streaming service quite a lot. Although there is a downfall with its commercials, I’m happy with the variety of shows it has to offer, especially since I’ve exhausted all my choices on Netflix. I’ve compiled a list of my favorite seven shows on Hulu so far for you:


Genre: Drama/Science Fiction/Mystery

Plot: Based on the Stephen King Novel sporting the same title, a high school teacher travels back in time to stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

The Handmaid’s Tale

Status: Ongoing

Plot: In a dystopian future, a woman is confined as a concubine in a totalitarian, Christian, theocratic dictatorship.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Genre: Comedy

Seasons + Episodes Per: 5 seasons, 23 episodes

Status: Ongoing

Plot: This situational comedy follows the lives of detectives working in Brooklyn’s 99th precinct.

Plot: This show follows the lives of employees working at a superstore. It’s more interesting than you’d initially think.

We Bare Bears

Plot: This animated show isn’t just for children. It follows the everyday of lives of three bear brothers living in San Francisco.

The Good Doctor

Plot: Shaun Murphy, a new surgical resident at a prestigious hospital, has autism and must face many obstacles to prove himself to others.

Broad City

Status: Ongoing

Plot: This raunchy situational comedy follows the lives of two best friends living in New York City.
