As the weather gets colder and the leaves begin to fall, the question on everyone’s mind is: what do we wear for fall? Fall fashion is all about staples, so here are five fall essentials for your wardrobe.

  1. Leather

Leather jackets and leather pants are some of the most versatile pieces that you should have in your fall wardrobe. Not only is leather extremely warm, but it also goes with everything. Try searching for neutral and muted tones such as black, tan, brown, and lighter shades of green. These colors are timeless and usually match with most articles in your wardrobe. Also, it’s vital to ensure that, unless you are already purchasing second-hand, to be environmentally conscious and buy good quality sustainable pho-leather pieces.

  1. Sweater Dress

Even though it is chilly outside, do not be afraid to wear skirts/ dresses, especially sweater dresses. Try finding a turtleneck or collared shirt for that chic look. Don’t be scared to experiment with color; just because it’s fall does not mean you can’t wipe out some spring colors.

  1. Shackets

Shackets are an effortless way to elevate any fall outfit. These pieces are so versatile; neutral shackets are the perfect way to stay warm and stylish, but don’t shy away from a pattern to add a quick pop to your fit.

  1. Sweaters

Obviously, sweaters are a fall staple; they are the perfect way to keep warm and look put together simultaneously. Try experimenting with fabrics here, testing out wool, knit, and even sweatshirt-style sweaters. Don’t be afraid to pair some casual sweaters with more traditionally formal pieces such as slacks and blazers for a more elevated look.

  1. Below the knee boots

Something you have probably seen plastered all over your TikTok for you page is the below-the-knee naked wolf boots. Now you don’t have to be this exact piece, but a good pair of below-the-knee black boots will go with any fall outfit and are frankly a closet staple.

With these five fall fashion essentials, you will be best dressed on the block!
