In February of 2021, Lady Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, was robbed at gunpoint. Her two bulldogs, Koji and Gustav, were stolen. The third dog, Miss Asia, ran away and was later found by police. Fischer was taken to the hospital in critical condition but fully recovered. In a tweet, Lady Gaga offered a $500k reward to whoever returned her dogs.

So, why is she being sued? Jennifer McBride, the woman charged with a connection to the theft, was the one who returned Gaga’s dogs. McBride believes that since Gaga promised $500k to whoever returned her dogs, then Gaga should reward McBridge for returning her dogs.

McBride now wants the court to triple the amount to $1.5 million in damages since Gaga had, allegedly, promised a misleading reward.
