No matter how you celebrate this time of year, fall is a season of transition from summer to winter and with it comes a transition in wardrobe!

Spring and summer styles this year were dominated by Y2K trends, and with low rise jeans and quirky baby tees coming back into style, it’s safe to say that the Y2K aesthetic is here to stay for this fall as well. Oversized cable-knit sweaters, such as the one that Rory wears in the first episode of the show, are sure to be a hot trend for this fall. The clothing item, which can be accompanied with either a plaid skirt or a pair of low rise jeans and boots, is sure to give you that fall semester look as you head on over to the library to get your “study” on.
