With 2018 still being fresh, I looked back onto 2017 and wrote up a list of what I learned in the past year. 2017 was an eventful year for the world, with all its celebrations and tragedies. Take a look at the seven things I learned in 2017, and take some time to reflect on your past year as well:

1. Too much junk food will give you a headache

2. Putting your phone away while studying will actually make you productive

3. You need to let go of clothes and items you no longer use

4. Stepping out of your comfort zone once in a while is good for you

5. You should call mom more often (she misses you)

6. There is still a huge need for love and empathy in the world

7. Stressing out will not solve anything. Talk to people. Take a deep breath. You’ve got this!

I hope 2018 will be a year of learning, growing, and thriving!
