Being called names. Pushed around the corridor. Negative comments under your profile pic. Lunch money stolen. Jammed in a locker. Locked in a bathroom. Teased in class.

Most of us haven’t gone through these awful nightmares in our lives, but some of us have. Often we are told that “it’s going to be okay,” and everybody talks about the victim support as a way to get them through this horrific part of their life called bullying. However, the real answer lies in the problem.

Big anti-bullying organizations offer aid and support for victims, and seminars where they talk children into not bullying, but the reason it doesn’t work is that they never address the problem directly. The fear. The pain. Unaddressed is the side of the bully, who is harming others in their life, and often eventually themselves.

For Anti-Bullying Week 2016, an unconventional approach has been taken to address this matter head on and to deal with its consequences together as a community.

HOW TO BE A BULLY is a social enterprise that is the leading authority for bullying prevention in schools, workplaces, and communities worldwide. Ultimately, they don’t believe in shaming and ostracizing people based on their behaviors or actions. Everyone needs some compassion and someone to understand them, which is why they exist. They provide services to assist individuals in changing destructive behaviors and they help them extract their true inner potential. HOW TO BE A BULLY was founded by Hamza Ahmad, an activist, poet and entrepreneur.
