The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon celebrated its one-year anniversary on February 18th, so to celebrate a show that has provided so much joy and silliness, I’ve compiled a list of the eight best moments from the show so far (many of which you’ve probably seen but are worth a re-watch). Enjoy!
1. Lip Sync Battle with Emma Stone
The lip sync battle is probably the most popular game on the Tonight Show, so much so that a separate show called Lip Sync Battle is in the process of development. However, this one with Emma Stone is one of the best and she totally kills it. The one with Paul Rudd and the most recent one with Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart are also amazing.
2. Jimmy Blew a Chance to Date Nicole Kidman
Back in Fallon’s SNL days he had the chance to hang out with/meet Nicole Kidman, but it did not turn out so great. It involved video games, old Chinese food and corn chips.
3. Daniel Radcliffe Raps Blackalicious’ “Alphabet Aerobics”
No words!
4. “Harry Styles” Interview
Early on in the Tonight Show, “Harry Styles” stopped by for a very real interview.
5. Jimmy and Bradley Cooper Can’t Stop Laughing
Fallon is famous for breaking, and this moment between he and Cooper may top them all as they both get caught in a massive laughing fit.
6. Word Sneak with Ricky Gervais
Word Sneak is one of the newer games on the show where Fallon and his guest, in this case Gervais, are given words that have to try to seamlessly incorporate into their conversation. The end of this particular conversation ends SO perfectly!
7. Family Feud
Steve Harvey was a guest on this episode, so of course there needed to be a game of the Feud.
8. Will Ferrell and Chad Smith Drum Off
After a very serious rivalry, Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Ferrell settled it once and for all with a drum-off, which may or may not involve some cowbell.
