Lets be honest, September was a bit of a mundane month. Luckily, with Thanksgiving so early this year we can quickly get over the mess and move on to bigger and better things.
6 Reasons to be Thanking Your Lucky Stars this October 6th
1) Three words: Football is back. As unfortunate as the NHL’s temper tantrum is, all of us NFL fans are just happy we got through 2011.
2) You don’t have Miley Cyrus’ hair. This was, and most-likely will never be a good idea. Pixies, yes. Blonde, yes. Miley, just no.
3) We are Canadian. As such, we don’t have to deal with what we’re sure are millions of dollars of campaign ads for the US elections.
4) Everyone has finally stopped singing ‘Call Me Maybe’
5) You are not Amanda Bynes. True, she will always be richer than you, but at least you are able to relish in your life mishaps in relative privacy.
6) The Bachelor Canada has finally aired and there lays an excuse to eat, drink and be merry.
