This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Ottawa chapter.

There are a few hard realities in life we can’t really avoid.

  1. University is expensive.
  2. Money doesn’t grow on trees.

My apologies to anyone who didn’t know that before reading the article but the financial statements on uoZone don’t lie. With rising tuition costs, the price of living and the way small things add up, your wallet could be feeling pretty tight. But don’t you collegiettes fear, there’s always scholarships, right?

Oh the elusive scholarship. The mystical creatures your guidance counsellors and teachers probably told you all about, the things your parents pleaded with you to fill out and the things that you never really could find. You can finally end your endless online search for scholarships and visit these sites to find some sweet scholarships that could help your wallet when it comes time for school payments.
