You have just completed that half hour photo shoot trying to capture that perfect candid photo of everyone laughing. Once reviewing all of these photos, the ordeal of selecting one to place in the social media world has just begun. Not only do you need to find that photo everyone is happy with the world seeing, but choosing that Instagram filter is a challenge in itself.

Although when you’re quickly swiping through filters, there are a few things you should know before posting that photo for everyone see. This step-by-step filter guide will lead you towards all of those likes you’re dying to receive!

Normal: Lets be real here, there is no such thing as #nofilter.
