The Her Campus U Ottawa Marketing and Events team is looking for candidates to fill the following positions below for the 2014-2015 school year! We want you to apply!
Interviews will take place Wednesday April 9th from 5pm-9pm and Thursday April 10th from 9am-1pm. Vice President of Creative Design
The Vice President of Creative Design is appointed through an interview process led by the Editor-In-Chief & Manager and the President of Events & Marketing. The Vice President of Creative Design will be part of the Events & Marketing team. The Vice President of Creative Design has the following responsibilities:
– Must have adequate skills in graphic design
– Must create all posters and pictures for the HC uO team
Vice President of Promotion
The Vice President of Promotion is appointed through an interview process led by the Editor-In-Chief & Manager and the President of Events & Marketing. The Vice President of Promotion will be part of the Events & Marketing team. The Vice President of Promotion will have the following responsibilities:
– Responsible for all promotional activities, outlets and events
– Act as a consultant to the President of Events & Marketing and the Executive team in preparation for public statements
– Must lead two promotional interns who will be appointed through an interview process. These interns will assist the Vice President of Promotion.
Vice President of Sponsorship
The Vice President of Sponsorship is appointed through an interview process led by the Editor-In-Chief & Manager and the President of Events & Marketing. The Vice President of Sponsorship will be part of the Events & Marketing team. The Vice President of Sponsorship will have the following responsibilities:
– Develop sponsorship packages
– Obtain sponsors for events
– Find ways to introduce current members to sponsors
– Create partnering programs with existing clubs on campus and external sponsors
– Must lead two sponsorship interns who will be appointed through an interview process. These interns will assists the Vice President of Sponsorship.
Vice President of Finance
The Vice President of Finance is appointed through an interview process led by the Editor-In-Chief & Manager and the President of Events & Marketing. The Vice President of Finance will be part of the Events & Marketing team. The Vice President of Finance will have the following responsibilities:
– Advise the President of Events & Marketing, the Editor-In-Chief & Manager, and other members of the Executive on financial planning budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters
– Contribute to the development of HC uO’s strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization
– Represents the organization externally, as necessary, particularly in banking and lease negotiations
Vice President of External Affairs
The Vice President of External Affairs is appointed through an interview process led by the Editor-In-Chief & Manager and the President of Events & Marketing. The Vice President of External Affairs will be part of the Events & Marketing team. The Vice President of External Affairs will have the following responsibilities:
– Plan, organize and create campus events such as pub nights, bake sales, promotion booths, yoga classes and workshops
– Must lead two External Affairs interns who will be appointed through an interview process. These interns will assist the Vice President of External Affairs. One intern will act as a sorority representative.
Vice President of Production
The Vice President of Production is appointed through an interview process led by the Editor-In-Chief & Manager and the President of Events & Marketing. The Vice President of Production will be part of the Events & Marketing team. The Vice President of Production will have the following responsibilities:
– Act as a primary coordinator of a large event hosted by HC uO that takes place once every year
– Must lead three production interns who will be appointed through an interview process. These interns will assist the Vice President of Production.
