Her Campus: How are you involved on campus?
Aleena Shaukat:
I’m involved in a few too many clubs because I accidently looked at too many people in the eye during clubs week.

HC: How would you describe yourself in three words?
AS:
Little (5’2.75 to be exact), someone called me a different breed of person once, compassionate.

HC: Favourite TV show?
AS:
LOST

HC: What’s been your most embarrassing moment?
AS:
There’s been many but recently I fell going up the stairs in the UCU.

HC: What is your dream job?
AS:
Pediatric Hematologist

HC: What’s it like applying to med school?
AS:
I’m a panicky mess but hopefully it’ll work out.

HC: What are you most excited about to be a doctor?
AS:
I think I would be most excited about it happening at all. But in all seriousness, I would be excited to meet people from all walks of life and hear their experiences.

HC: What country would you like to visit?
AS:
Palau. They have this lake where you can scuba dive with jellyfish that have lost their stinging abilities.

HC: Who inspires you?
AS:
My mom for sure, she has taught me everything I know and how to appreciate what I have.

HC: What do you plan to do after you graduate?
AS:
Sleep for a couple months and then figure out what to do next.

HC: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
AS:
I’m hoping at the very least I have a job and maybe a personal chef?

HC: What are you going to miss about Ottawa when you graduate?
AS:
Living so close to Parliament, and even if it’s not true I’m going to be telling everyone at home that Trudeau and I were neighbours.
