Hey guys! Although usually I post some little gem I discovered at some point during any given loathsome lecture, I figured I would use my first blog post of the year to say a few words of welcome (and otherwise) as the very proud Assistant Editor of Her Campus UMich for the 2011-2012 academic year.
First and perhaps most importantly, I’d like to point out the fact that we have an absolutely fabulous writing staff this year who will undoubtedly be producing some of the best work Her Campus has seen thus far. I’m looking forward to working with each and every one of our writers this year, who have all demonstrated both talent and personality in both their applications and throughout our correspondence with each other since the start of the school year. I sincerely hope that each and every one of them understands how valued they are – we’re so lucky to have them!
In addition to our lovely writers, I am (of course) excited to continue to work with Editor, Nikki Williams, and Marketing Team wonders, Franci Litvak and Carly Boddy, who have all contributed towards making being a part of Her Campus UMich an enjoyable and rewarding experience for me thus far.
As for our loyal readers – as always, you guys are the greatest. Thanks so much for your continued support, and please know that your opinions mean the world to us. Although we’ll always try our best to include the content you’re looking for, we’re definitely not perfect. Having said that, if you’re seeing something in Her Campus UMich that you love, hate, or just want to discuss further, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. After all, without you, we wouldn’t be much of anything at all!
