Her Campus: What would you say is your favorite music?
James Kilmeade: Anything acoustic—singer/songwriters like Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse, Sam Smith. Also, James Blake for sure.
HC: Describe your dream girl for us.
JK: I wouldn’t say I have just one type. Definitely a good sense of humor is important, and also being very opinionated—I literally broke up with a girl once because she had nothing to say. And not afraid to embarrass themselves and do fun stuff. Honestly, if a girl burped in front of me, I would love it.
HC: What’s the most challenging part of the music school?
JK: I’m taking four dance classes from 9 to 4:30 everyday and I’ve never had an experience like that before.
HC: Where do you see yourself in five years?
JK: Either LA or New York hopefully working in some type of performance job, making a name for myself.
HC: As a Sava’s employee, give us your go-to entrée.
JK: I always go for the roasted chicken, but the open-faced s’mores are also unreal.
