Who Run The World? How Beyoncé Changed My Life

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Mass Amherst chapter.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been dancing to any and every Beyoncé song that came on the radio—and I know I’m not the only one. Beyoncé has always empowered women to be the best that they possibly can be. But bringing out my inner Sasha Fierce isn’t the only thing that Queen Bey has taught me. I can honestly say that Beyoncé has changed my life! Let’s go through some of the things that Beyoncé has taught me over the years:

Your girls will always be there for you…

…but sometimes, you just have to do your own thing.

Don’t be afraid to try new things (like jumping off of the Sky Building!)

Just walk away from the drama that you don’t need…

…and walk away fabulously!

Always embrace your inner kid.

Sometimes you just have to laugh!

“Embrace your past, but live for now.”

Girls run the world!

But above and beyond all:
