1.) What is Pooldip?

Pooldip is a social recruiting application that is designed to help college students and recent graduates make their next career move through connections and networking.

Pooldip’s mobile platform combines the ease of a “Facebook Like” with the endorsement of a LinkedIn Recommendation, allowing your closest friends to showcase your attributes.  Pooldip finally the solves the key problem for graduating students who want to build up their professional network but find themselves with 500 plus Facebook friends, under 50 LinkedIn connections and limited job experience.  The mobile application is supported on the iPhone / iPad / Android.

2.) How does Pooldip work?

Using Pooldip is of the most effective ways to enhance your professional life.  Simply invite your inner circle to “LIKE” you and describe you in a word from Pooldip’s list of descriptors that is provided by recruiters.  The exciting part of Pooldip is that it provides a platform to easily connect with recruiters and show off who you are beyond your resume.  Concerning Facebook integration, your Facebook profile and content is kept private (photos, wall posts, etc).

3.) Why do you think college students, especially college graduates need Pooldip?

It’s plain and simple to me; college graduates need Pooldip. We already have an impressive client list including Hewlett Packard, ESPN, NYLife, other Fortune 100 companies and a lot of startups looking to source talent.  We also have one of the slickest news streams with five different anchors webcasting news clips that highlight companies who are hiring. Using Pooldip, college students and recent graduates looking for employment can be the first to take advantage of this latest social recruiting network. It’s really a no brainer as it puts you ahead of the curve in the job seeking competition.

4.) When did Pooldip officially launch?

Pooldip launched exclusively on Tuesday on an invitation basis.  We are targeting for 10,000 users within the first week of the launch. We’re hopeful for a rapid expansion of users in the summer months as graduation is swiftly approaching and recent graduates will be looking for employment.
