Ahh, senior year. That weird time when you’re still a student, but are supposed to become a real adult in just a few short months. There are a lot of unique, sad, exciting and absolutely terrifying feelings that come with the territory.
1. When you realize you have no idea what you want to do with your life
2. When UMass sent out the email with instructions to check your “graduation information on Spire for accuracy”
3. When you want to stay in, but realize you are wasting precious going out time
4. When people constantly ask you what you’re going to do post-graduation
5. But then you actually stop and think about how cool it is that you could be living anywhere/doing anything a year from now
6. You have some weird grudge against freshmen because their college experience is just starting while yours is coming to an end
7. That moment of realization whenever something is “for the last time“
Last home football game, last day drink at the Townhouses, last first day of the semester.
8. The pressure when you’re signing up for classes for the final semester
If you don’t get this right, you’re screwed.
9. When people ask if you’re ready to finally be done
10. You start to get sentimental about weird things
“You know, the library is sort of beautiful. I don’t care what anyone says.”
11. When senioritis kicks in
12. Giving underclassmen advice because you’re basically a grown-up
13. And finally, when you start talking about all of this with your best friends
