What is the Fashion Management Club?

The Fashion Management Club, or the FMC, is a student organization which brings those who are interested in fashion together. The FMC aims to bridge the gap between business and fashion by presenting opportunities to students who are interested in pursuing a career in fashion management. Meetings are held weekly on Tuesdays at 8pm in the PBB or IMU where students learn how to develop a professional persona through mock interviews, portfolio workshops, networking events, and professional trips.

What is happening on April 19th?

This Sunday at the Old Brick Church in Iowa City, the FMC will be hosting their second annual Fashion for Charity Fashion Show. From 11am – 1pm there will be a networking hour with a light brunch followed by a runway show. The runway show will include looks styled from donated clothing and some styles from Iowa City boutiques. At the end of the show all of the clothes will be donated to United Action for Youth Charity. Check out who will have tables at the show this Sunday!
