When and how did you become involved in Her Campus here at Iowa?
Kylie: I became involved last year and helped on the marketing side! I always read Her Campus, so I wanted to become a part of it!
Sarah: I got an email from the SJMC listserve and was really interested in writing for a publication I had been reading since high school! I joined in my first semester of freshman year.
What else are you involved in on campus?
Kylie: I am the Vice President of Student Event Planners Association,on the Scholarship and Events Committee of my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, and I am in Public Relations Student Society of America and Inspire PR.
Sarah: I am a member of Ed on Campus, an organization for students interested in the magazine and publishing industry, and I am also a Family Representative for Dance Marathon!
Best experience at Iowa?
Kylie: Every game day!
Sarah: All of the football games are so exciting!
Favorite part about Iowa?
Kylie: I love the friendliness that spreads through the town!
Sarah: Walking around campus all year. No matter the season, campus always just looks so gorgeous!
Favorite place in IC?
Kylie: Java House
Sarah: Java House, Yotopia, and Molly’sGo-to coffee order?
Kylie: Vanilla latte

What are your hopes/goals for the future? Dream career?
Kylie: My dream career would be to work in the fashion PR industry! I love the excitement and craziness of PR and have always been drawn to fashion.
Sarah: There are so many things I would love to do. I would love to be the social media coordinator for a company or a book editor or a blogger. Can I do them all??
If you could have lunch with any woman, who would it be and what would you order?
Kylie: Lauren Conrad — I adore her and I am so inspired by her style! We would probably order something up-and-coming since she always seems to know the trendiest of everything.
Sarah: J.K. Rowling — She is simply brilliant, and I’m obsessed with Harry Potter. I’d love to just sit and pick her brain for hours. We’d probably go somewhere for diner food – burgers, fries, and shakes!

Kylie: Do calligraphy!

Kylie: Everything happens for a reason.

Kylie: Football game, dinner out, and a relaxing night!
Sarah: Sleep in, go shopping, get coffee, and pizza for dinner with the fam :)
