The beginning of spring semester was not enough to keep Hawkeyes away from the bar scene this past weekend. Thursday through Saturday masses of students flocked downtown to several popular bars to let loose the stresses of the first week back in school.
“I couldn’t wait to get out wth my friends and unwind,” says Andy Nichols, a senior studying business. He and his friends, as well as large number of other students love to go to all of the bars downtown to have a good time, but they especially like to end the night at Pints on Clinton Street where you can be sure to catch everyone belting out a Whitney Houston classic.
This is only the beginning of the semester and we can only plan on the bar scene getting even better as time goes on!
