From 11 AM to 3 PM on Wednesday, November 18th, the bright young women from Her Campus UConn set out to find what truly makes the study body here so awesome and promote self-love.
This empowerment event encouraged all people passing by in the Student Union to embrace who they are and proudly display why they are totally fabulous (on pink and orange Post-It Notes, of course!).
Her Campus reader Jackie Nappo impressed us all with her Shaggy knowledge. You go, girl!
Co-Event Coordinators Lily Zappulla and Samantha Mackowitz are awesome because they, along with many other girls from Her Campus UConn, were proud to spend hours at the event and make sure all students left feeling excited and empowered.
By the end of the event, the board was filled with an array of fun, inspiring, and unique qualities. From being able to “Hit the Quan” to being the first member of a family to graduate college, the UConn community boldy displayed their inner confidences and proved why our student body is, well, awesome!
