Finals Week as Told by Puppies

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

Studying for Finals as told by Puppies

Finals approach us Huskies, and soon we will be moving out of dorms and apartments and thinking ahead to our summer plans. However, those plans could not feel more far away. All that stands between you is one last monumental test in each class that most likely will all occur within 72 hours of each other and some how isn’t “bunched”. Thanks Susan.

You finish your last class of the semester and walk out feeling like…

You head to the library with your friends later that night thinking you’ll start your studying early, but really you just end up goofing around.

It’s the night before your finals and you have spent the whole weekend studying and the only thing that sums up your mood is:

It’s getting late and you realize you should probably go to bed because you just can’t stay awake any longer.

When your alarm goes off the next morning all you want to do is stay in bed

You make it to your first final and when you finally flip to that front page your heart is racing.

After you are done, mentally and somehow physically exhausted,  you realize have to start studying again. But first, a nap!

You start studying again but it just turns into you and your friends eating delivery food because “It’s finals, calories don’t count!!”

Now its Tuesday at 12:30 am and you think that since you have one final under your belt, you can conquer all of them! So you buckle down and start learning

You stay up cramming the information you slept through, binge eating DP Dough, and trying find ways to keep you and your friends motivated

And suddenly it’s the end of the week and you find yourself walking out of your last final like

Soon come the bittersweet goodbyes for the summer and the group hugs with your best friends

Followed by the long, cramped car ride home with mom asking how everything went. Your response:

I am from a small New Hampshire town you have probably never heard of before. I am always active and on the go, soccer, lacrosse, hiking, skiing, running and even horse back riding. I am shamelessly in love with every member of the Boston Red Sox as well as my border collie/aussie mix of a pup, Sophie. I am a physiology and neurobiology major here at Uconn and if I could be any one in the world other than myself I would be Christina Yang from Greys Anatomy
