I always happen to restart all of my favorite television shows at the worst times, i.e. right before finals. If you have this habit too, you have come to the right place. I am sorry in advance for feeding this habit, but you can thank me later. Here are five shows you will not be sorry you watched to take your mind off of final exams:
1. 90210
Who doesn’t want to pause studying and pretend you’re living in California on the beach, going to Naomi’s fabulous parties and witnessing juicy scandals? 90210 is the best show to get your mind off books and notes and take a mental vacation.
2. Friends
The best way to take a break from studying is by getting a few, or a hundred, laughs while watching this hilarious show. There is nothing like some advice from Monica to reassure you that studying for finals can wait: “get out before they go down.”
3. One Tree Hill
Watch One Tree Hill if you are feeling nostalgic about graduating, leaving all your friends for summer or if you are just missing high school. Watching OTH will bring back all your favorite high school pastimes. Also, who doesn’t love a little Brooke Davis drama to make you laugh?
4. Grey’s Anatomy
Every time I watch Grey’s, I get total euphoria and am convinced that I could be a doctor. If you are looking for some confidence to get you through finals, watch Grey’s Anatomy. Plus, there is nothing like watching Avery, McSteamy and McDreamy to motivate you to do well on finals.
5. Law and Order: SVU
Because who doesn’t love seeing Benson and Stabler in action to save the little victirms and catch the dirty perpetrator? Watch SVU if you aren’t quite in the mood for mindless TV, and want something with sustenance and excitement.
