10 Things Stubborn People Know To Be True

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Conn chapter.

Being stubborn is a trait that has its pros and cons.  Even if you’re a self-acknowledged stubborn person or you’re too stubborn to admit to being stubborn, you’ll definitely identify with these 10 struggles.

1. Admitting you’re wrong is the equivalent of the apocalypse.

Seriously, what is the definition of “wrong”? Can you use it in a sentence?

2. Apologizing is harder than quantum physics.

And when you do actually apologize, it usually ends with you justifying why you did what you did.

3. You’ve been called “egocentric” or “difficult” on multiple occasions.

Even though it’s not your fault that people just don’t understand your way of thinking.

4.  Asking for help is torturous.

You’d rather spend 4 hours struggling with the same problem than admit you can’t do it and need assistance.

5. Letting go is one of the toughest things to do.

Yeah, so Elsa probably wants to drop kick you in the face.

6. You always know best.

And nobody can tell you anything different.

7.  You’re extremely opinionated.

And when someone doesn’t agree with you it turns into an all out debate.

8. It’s your way or the highway.

And when things don’t go your way…..oh boy.

9.  The legal profession has been part of you career plan at one point or another.

You’re great at arguing so why not?

10. You know what you want and you’ll do whatever it takes it to get it.

You’re determined and focused, nothing can stop you from reaching your goals.
