Introducing: Terrell and Theo!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Chicago chapter.

Name: Terrell White and Theo Benji

Hometown: Lumberton, NJ; Santa Monica, CA.

Major: Physics; History and Philosophy

Relationship Status: Taken; To be determined.

What would you compare your outlook on dating to?
Terrell: A raffle. You can’t win the raffle if you don’t buy a ticket, no matter the odds.
Theo: Sports I guess. Like all great sports sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

Thoughts on double dates?
Terrell: If we’re all great friends, I’d be in.
Theo: The concept of a double date is too formal haha, it would just be awkward. But I wouldn’t be opposed to catching dinner or a movie with my friend and his girlfriend.

What do girls look best in?
Terrell:
Sweatpants, hair tied, chillin’ with no makeup on.
Theo: A simple summer dress.

Favorite (realistic) pickup line?
Terrell: I used to not believe in love at first sight, but then I saw you.
Theo: Sorry, you’re so beautiful that I forgot my pickup line…

What kind of a texter are you?
Terrell: I like to add sarcasm and subtle compliments. Keeps the conversation going.
Theo: I am the worst texter. I forget to answer. Sorry, girls.

What can you usually be found doing on a Saturday afternoon?
Terrell: Hanging out in my apartment with the boys and figuring out what to do that night.
Theo: Taking a Teo nap to prepare for the night.

Favorite campus/HP spot to go on a date?
Terrell: Leona’s. The portions are big and the food is hearty. I like to spoil my date and a girl’s gotta eat.
Theo: Perfect spot for a date would be HPP. Shop together, grabe a bottle of wine from Kimbark and then make her some food at my apartment.
