The Final Four Takes on New Orleans

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

This weekend the NCAA Final Four took over New Orleans. Ohio State fans proudly marched down Bourbon while Louisville Cardinals swarmed the French Quarter. For those of us at a school that definitely isn’t in the final four…sorry Tulane, we did what any good New Orleans resident would do and celebrated anyway! Were you lucky enough to see one of the free concerts by the riverfront? How about the slam dunk contest on campus? KISS, The Black Keys, Jimmy Buffett, The Avett Brothers, all for free?! I had to catch a few shows myself–The Avett Brothers are dominating the stage in this picture. For those of you lucky enough to catch the final game tonight, first of all–I’m jealous! Who will you cheer for? A winner will be decided tonight–either the Kansas Jayhawks or the Kentucky Wildcats will be named the new champion of men’s college basketball at our very own New Orleans Superdome.
