How does it feel to be “Facebook famous”?

It’s cool. There are times when it kind of sucks—a lot of people already have a first impression of you, so you can’t form your own first impression with them. But at the same time, it’s amazing because people have been really ecstatic to finally meet me. It’s funny because I meet people and they’re like, “Holy shit, its Danny Knight!” And that’s fun, because that’s a great way for me to start a conversation. So while it’s fun, I’d say there’s more ups than downs.

Did you know you posted an unusual amount in the Facebook group?

When I posted, I didn’t see the group as just an info page. I saw it more as a conversation. So at the time, no I didn’t think I posted an unusual amount. But as soon as I got to campus, I somewhat regretted it. But, most of my posts were very informative. So I feel like I helped out the class.

Do you feel like you made a lot of friends through Facebook?

Yes. There has been a lot of people who when I see them here I’m happy to see them. Because we already have a rapport through Facebook, I can just go up to them and say hi.

What’s your favorite thing about Tufts?

It’s so cliché, but for the most part, everyone has just been generally pleasant and nice to be around. Even people who I might not want to hang out with, I still understand they’re amazing people and that we just don’t click. But it’s amazing that I’m not just ruling people out because they’re rude.
