Who are the Chicks on the Right? They are Miriam Weaver and Amy Jo Clark, two popular Conservative bloggers who write about anything from politics to pop culture. Last year they released their first book: Right for a Reason: Life, Liberty, and a Crapload of Common Sense which is definitely worth the read. I got it for Christmas (thanks mom!) and could not put it down it’s so good. The Chicks provide insight to issues pertaining the Republican party and how they’re not all old, white men who want to take away everyones money. In my opinion the Chicks talk about how wonderful capitalism is, how dumb political correctness is, and, as they say “Americans have a constitutional right to things that go pew-pew-pew.” They also tackle the notion that there’s an alleged GOP “War on Women” (spoiler alert: there isn’t one). I cannot recommend this fact-filled and hilarious book enough because while reading it it reminded me of all the things that make America and the Republican Party great.
