My First NFL Game

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Towson chapter.

I have never been to a NFL game because I never thought I would be interested in it. Whenever it would come on TV, I was always into the game, however I just never considered going to a professional football game.

Well, until my mom shared the news that she wanted to go to a Ravens game. My mother and I have always been Ravens fans. We both have never been to a football game, but my mom has always wanted to go to one and her dream came true on November 8, 2016.

She shared the news with me that she was interested in going to a Ravens game and she wanted me to go with her. At first I was only going to accompany her; I wasn’t too hype about going.

When it came to game day, it finally hit me that I’m going to a Ravens game! It wasn’t just any Ravens game either. The Ravens were playing against their rival team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.

My dad dropped me and my mom off at the game and we were on our way. We got great seats! We were in Row 9 and our seats were right on the 50-yard line so we could see the field well and not too many people were in front of us.

There were so many people there and it was fun talking to people from different states who came to the game. I even talked to some Steelers fans. Everyone was in great spirits and excited to be at the game and have a terrific time.

If I could do this over, I would a million times and I think everyone should go to a football game once in their life!
