Where would university students be without food and drinks to keep them going? The answer is nowhere. Hence, below is a list of the places that you can grab food and drinks on campus to push through any day without passing out in the middle of class.

1.     The CafeteriasThe cafeterias of Ryerson offer a variety of sandwiches, entrées, salads that can be personalized, to-go snacks, and more! There are three different cafeteria locations:

– The Hub Café (380 Victoria Street)The Hub Café is located on the first floor of Jorgenson Hall.

– Pitman Hall Café (160 Mutual Street)The Pitman Hall Café is located in the Pitman Hall residence building.

– ILLC Café (240 Jarvis Street)The International Living and Learning Centre Residence features the ILLC Café.

2.     POD60,  JOR (380 Victoria Street)On the lower level of Jorgenson Hall, there are Starbucks coffee options, sandwiches, salads, to-go snacks, and more!

3.     Ram’s Café (50 Carlton Street)The Ram’s Café is located on the second floor of the Mattamy Athletic Centre (MAC) and it offers Starbucks drinks, a smoothie bar, sandwiches, salads, to-go snacks, and more!

4.     Tim Hortons Locations (350 Victoria Street)Tim Hortons is a staple for any Canadian student. Their affordable coffee, tea, meals, and dessert can rejuvenate you without creating a giant hole in your wallet. There are four (FOUR!) Timmies locations on campus!

– The Library Bridge The first Tim Hortons is located on the second floor of the Library (LIB) Bridge.

– Ted Rogers School of Management BuildingYou can find your Timmies fix on the seventh and nineth floor of the Ted Rogers School of Management (TRSM) building.

– Kerr HallThere is a Tim Hortons located on the second floor of Kerr Hall, near the bridge towards the Rogers Communications Centre (RCC) building.

5.     Student Learning Centre Starbucks (350 Victoria Street)In the Student Learning Centre (SLC), there is a Starbucks right on the ground floor, which cannot be missed when you enter. It entails their full drink and food menu so all your Starbucks cravings can be fulfilled. You can purchase coffee, tea, cold drinks, packed bistro meals, sandwiches, and sweets.

6.     Oakham Café (55 Gould Street)In between the historic Oakham House and the Ryerson Student Centre, the Oakham Café is another lovely café on campus. It offers organic coffees, espresso drinks, homemade baked goods, organic teas, and iced teas. There is an in-house as well as a take-out menu so you can sit and enjoy the calming environment to chat with friends, or you can take a delicious meal on the go. 

7.     Ram in the Rye (63 Gould Street)Ryerson’s very own campus pub, Ram in the Rye, includes LCD TVs, an HD projector, pool tables, and a VIP bar. Throughout the week, you can come out to unwind by watching sports, attending karaoke nights, or just coming to dance and mingle with your fellow Ryersonians.

8.     Balzac’s in the Rye (122 Bond Street)Located in the heart of campus, Balzac’s is the hippest café at Ryerson. With gourmet coffee and a lovely café environment to work in, Balzac’s is easily one of the most loved places to grab food, dessert, and a drink on campus.
