It’s the most wonderful time of the year again! As the holidays quickly approach, this means more time with family and friends and many traditions. Why not add a new tradition to your list and check out the Rothman Institute Ice Rink at Dilworth Park? It’s a very “cool” place to check out in Center City.
The park has already opened for business and will run until February 22. You have plenty of time to check out the park during the winter season, or you could even make it a potential Valentine’s Day date. The rates are also pretty reasonable with skate rentals starting at only $8. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to skate in a trendy, urban setting.
If you’re a novice skater, no need to worry, Dilworth will work with you. They offer four weeks of “Learn-to-Skate” sessions on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and 10:15 am. The cost for the sessions is $60. They run from November 23-February 22. More information can be found on their website.
