Naturalista Hair Care Products

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

Ladies, it’s time for us to join together and embrace our natural hair by giving it the special treatment it deserves! A woman’s hair is a crowned glory that should be admired and praised by each person that may cross her path! It is no secret that women want luscious, camera-ready hair.

Hair NeedsIn order to achieve lust worthy hair you need to actually know what your natural hair needs. Yes, that means you will have to be mindful of how you handle your mane. Improper styling such as excessive heat, friction from towel drying, and combing the hair with a fine toothcomb versus using a wide toothcomb are all hair care mistakes. It is crucial that you handle your hair gently to obtain growth and overall healthy hair.

Say Yes To Sulfate And Paraben Free ProductsWhat exactly are parabens and sulfates? Why are these ingredients a major no no? For those who do not know, a paraben is a chemical substance that has preservative qualities. Parabens are commonly used in cosmetic products to prolong their shelf life. Sulfates are made up of synthetic compounds that give most hair products a foaming effect. The issue with these two ingredients is that they are way too harsh for hair and may irritate the scalp, fade hair color, and cause hair loss.
