Adele had us all “Rolling in the Deep” with this news.

While Adele’s residency was canceled (a day before it was slated to start), in a recent, exclusive interview with Elle Magazine and in a tearjerking video, we found out why. The British singer canceled her long-awaited Las Vegas residency back in January, giving fans the “Cold Shoulder,” and was very vague as to why.

“Rumor Has It” that the show is back on, as of July 25 when the “Easy on Me” artist tweeted “Words cannot explain how ecstatic I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows. I truly was heartbroken to have to cancel them” officially announcing the new run from November 2022 to March 2023 at the Caesars Palace Resort. Down the thread, she wrote “Now I know for some of you it was a horrible decision on my part, and I will always be sorry for that.” Why was it the best decision? She relayed in an emotional Twitter video in late January that Covid and stress are the main reasons for the cancelation of the show. She garnered mixed reactions. Some fans were furious that they were already in Las Vegas for her residency when she canceled the shows, while some showed support knowing the stresses these issues can put on a person.

Beyond the mental and the physical health of her and those involved in the show, Adele also stressed that she wanted this show to be perfect, and she was not comfortable with how the production side of things were. Beyond health implications, she wanted to put her best foot forward and give fans the show they expect.

Although the singer has had a rough couple of years, (with her divorce and her weight loss journey being judged) things are looking up and she has produced a “Remedy.” Adele is going to make her residency an unforgettable, intimate, and once-in-a-lifetime experience for her devoted fans, “Right as Rain.”
