My Favorite BTS Moments and Cast Interviews From “Shadow and Bone” Season 2

I’ve been counting down the days until the release of Shadow and Bone Season 2 since Season 1 aired two years ago. When S&BS2 dropped a few weeks ago, I was ecstatic. I considered myself an avid reader and fan of the original book series by Leigh Bardugo, and while many moons have passed since I physically read the books, I still recall the basic fandom principles from back in the day.

For whatever reason, the general consensus on Season 2 was negative because the plot diverged heavily from the book storylines. Hot(?) take…who cares? The show never claimed to be an accurate chapter-by-chapter adaptation. It’s sort of a Point A and Point B and Point C match, but the path between points is a bit different. AND are we really upset about visualized fanfiction about all our characters? I had a damn good time watching 8 hours of slightly unpredictable chaos that loosely followed the written threads of the plot.

But, for all intents and purposes, this piece is not to convince you to watch Shadow and Bone Season 2 (although you certainly should). The one thing we can ALL agree on as fans and celebrate together is the amazing cast portraying our beloved characters. They are perfect. They are wholesome. They are so hot. Thus, watching the cast interact off-set and behind the scenes is just as (if not more) enjoyable than watching the actual show. So if you’ve recently finished binging Seasons 1 and 2 and are dying for more S&B content, here are a few of my favorite cast moments that I think you should watch.

Watch the cast react to fan theories and thirst tweets!
Ben Barnes’ love language is physical touch… mine too??
The cast answers the most searched questions about their characters.
The most adorably aggressive compliment competition.
Besties on Besties… who texts the most?? Hilarious.
Fan slang, book terminology…you name it, they guess it.

These are just a few options. There are PLENTY more videos to add fuel to your Crow-loving fire if you wish to find it. Please keep watching Shadow and Bone and hyping up the show and its cast so we can get the chance to see the Ice Court Heist in Season 3!!! I must have it.

P.S. Kaz Brekker is my husband. I love you Inej, but I love Kaz more, sorry.

P.P.S. If Kaz is unavailable, I’ll happily take Aleksander. I’ll rule the world with him any day.
