6 Ways to Prepare for Thanksgiving

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCU chapter.

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching! Here are six things to cross off your to-do list before you gobble up that turkey!

1. Eat as many pumpkin-flavored foods as possible. Thanksgiving only comes around once a year, you’d better get your pumpkin fix now!

2. Visit a pumpkin patch! There are plenty in Fort Worth, and they won’t be around for much longer!

3. Plan your Thanksgiving outfit. Make sure it’s cute AND comfy!

4. Learn how to make an easy recipe! You can make it for your family when you get home, and everyone will be super impressed with your new skills, plus, your parents will thank you for contributing to the cooking!

5. Spend a little extra time in the library getting ahead on your homework and studying. You won’t regret being able to relax and enjoy your break!

6. Host a Friendsgiving before you all go home for break! It’s a great time to de-stress and catch up with friends you haven’t seen in a while.
